Forty-two percent selected education, ahead of personal use at 26% and business use at 20%. This suggests that classroom explanations, online lessons, training and student practice deserve first-class treatment in teleprompter product design.

02

Video dominates the intended output

Eighty percent selected video. Presentations accounted for 9% and livestreaming for 2%. For this audience, eye contact, reliable delivery and the record-and-read flow matter more than livestream-specific complexity.

Reading better outranks production polish

Thirty-nine percent chose “improve reading” as their main goal, compared with 27% for saving time and 13% for video quality. The central job is confidence and fluency: the technology should disappear while the speaker stays on message.

Method and limitations

This descriptive report summarizes approximately 3,160 anonymous answers recorded in the app’s onboarding flow during a 30-day window ending May 26, 2026. Percentages are rounded. Respondents are new Teleprompter Pro users who reached the relevant questions; they are not a random sample of all teleprompter users. Answers describe stated intent, not observed long-term behavior, and omitted categories mean totals shown here do not add to 100%.

The analysis contains no script text, recording, name, email address or direct personal identifier. It should be used to understand this product’s incoming audience, not to estimate the entire market.
